MULTIMEDIA AS AN INCENTIVE FOR INTERNAL MOTIVATION AND USE OF COMPUTERS IN SPORTS

The purpose of this study was to present the appropriateness digital educational material and explore multimedia usability importance using them in developing motivation participants learning sports skills. were 63 beginner female volleyball athletes, aged 10-12 years (MO = 10,94, TA 1.1 1-2 practice experience 1,44, 1,4). intervention program had 10 weeks duration, with 3 practices per week. For needs study, an internet site (www.minivolley.gr) used which been created for purpose. athletes entered positioning their free time. location contained sketches, 3D animations, videos exercises, presentations teaching three basic Volleyball skills regulations. At tip intervention, comfort attending electronic courses evaluated. according perceived view learners evaluated a part questionnaire (Sun et al., 2008) while intrinsic Intrinsic Motivation Inventory (Mc Auely 1989). results showed statistically significant improvement all variables both questionnaires.<p> </p><p><strong> Article visualizations:</strong></p><p><img src="/-counters-/edu_01/0954/a.php" alt="Hit counter" /></p>
